Larry's gelding is the Trail Obstacle World Champion
4 consecutive years.
THE TRAIL COURSE
The trail course will consist of side-passing,
backing, jumping, pulling, gates, and things you might find on a
trail or ranch. There will be a time limit for each
entry/competitor. Entries for the Novice Division will face a
course with 6-7 obstacles with a total of 6 minutes allowed for
completion of the course. Entries in the Open Division will
face 11 obstacles with a total of 10 minutes allowed for
completion of the course.
Judging will be based on 1-10 points, with 6
being average. Description will be given at the walk-through on
Saturday at 8:30 a.m. CDT. Points will be given for
horsemanship, control, willingness, and bravery of mount, along
with softness, flexibility, and straightness.
