What do you get for your membership fee?  Part of your fee will go to pay for paper, ink and postage for our newsletter, our website fees and advertising.  Our website and newsletter will keep you informed of upcoming local meetings and information on laws and changes affecting equestrians in Georgia.  We have 3 forms of membership, individual, family and business.

A business membership entitles you to:

  • A family membership in BCHNG

  • A Business Card in our Monthly Newsletter

  • AND a Business Card on this website with which will be a link to yours (only to websites that do not contain adult content)

Part of your membership fee will go to our National Organization, the Back Country Horsemen of America.  You will also receive the National Newsletter, which is a great way to stay on top of equestrian issues nationwide.  Part of the fees sent to the National Organization goes to send lobbyists to Washington every year to make our needs known and to work to persuade our legislators to cast their votes in favor of "Right to Ride" legislation and continued horse and pack stock use on public land.

There is a lack of horse trails and horse camps in most areas of the Chattahoochee National Forest.  We want to unite trail riders and make the US Forest Service aware of the need for more horse facilities and multi-use trails.  We will work with them in the creation, designation and maintenance of new trails.  We must commit to doing our part and work to educate fellow equestrians in the "leave no trace" ethic.

Join Back Country Horsemen of North Georgia and volunteer in an organization that is working to keep trails open and build new ones!
