     BCHNG & LEAVE NO TRACE

Partners Joining to Protect Our Natural Resources & Equestrian Trails

BCH of North Georgia has taken an active role in spreading the word about "Leave No Trace."  Our goal is to raise public awareness and help instill proper ethics of forest users in the Chattahoochee National Forest by conducting Awareness Workshops and "Train the Trainers" classes.

It is paramount to emphasize how one person's behavior can have a profound and lasting affect on the recreational experiences of others, as well as the condition and appearance of our forest.

BCHNG has three Master Educators available for Awareness and Trainers classes. If you are a member of an organization, school or club that would like to have us present a "Train the Trainers" class or "Awareness Workshop," please contact us. We appreciate the opportunity to spread the word. Our Awareness Workshops can be as short as an hour or so and "Train the Trainers" classes are two day classes that involve an overnight camping excursion.  There is no cost for the Awareness Workshops. Kids will come away with a certificate of completion, but especially the knowledge and a new understanding about the importance of minimizing their impact on their environment.
